10 instant “feel good & more relaxed” things to add to your daily routine!
The last weeks a lot of thoughts are messing up with my mind and I feel jumpy … more than I would like to be. So I found out what helps me getting rid of those thoughts as much as possible. :-)
While there may not be a secret formula to feeling relaxed all the time, there are definitely some simple things you can start doing today that will help you putting things in perspective, feeling more relaxed and get to where you want to go faster!
Rise and Shine
“Opportunities are like sunrises. If you wait too long, you miss them.” (William Arthur Ward)
“To keep the body in good health is a duty. Otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” (Buddha)
Adopting a Positive Mindset
“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.” (Willie Nelson)
Organize and Plan Out your day
“A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim that.” (Bruce Lee)
Make time for loved ones
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find. All the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” (Rumi)
Work on a personal passion project
“Don’t aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.” (David Frost)
Go outside to clear the mind
Get offline for an hour. Free your mind. Go Outside for a walk. Look up at the sky. Take in the beauty of the real world. Exchange a smile. Disconnect for a while to reconnect.
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” (Albert Einstein)
What are you Grateful for?
“A (wo)man should look for what is, and not for what (s)he thinks should be.” (Albert Einstein)
“The difference between a successful person and others, is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge,… but rather a lack of will.” (Vince Lombardi)
Some of these seem obvious, but if you look at your daily routine how often do you make time to exercise, go outside for a walk, realize what you have, think about what you really want in life and plan your day?
If you don’t have the time to do all these things, a good start is being mindful and incorporating at least one of these tips into your daily life. Often times just remembering your goals is one step closer to achieving them.
Wonderful again Monique! Thank you!
