Bring Your Own Sunshine!
Wherever you go, whatever you do, no matter what the weather does, always bring your own sunshine! :-)
A couple of days ago I read the following tweet ‘I don’t get tired by the weather but I get tired by all the people that are complaining about the weather’. It made me smile. Yes, it’s true. It is definitely too cold for the time of the year, but why shouldn’t we enjoy the moment and just be as happy as possible – somewhere inside or outside.
Happiness can be found in the simplest of things. Hugs & Kisses, Love, Humour, Relaxation, Sunshine, Dreams, Smile, Peace, Kids, Success, Music, Enthusiasm.
I started reflecting on moments where I’ve caught myself in a sense of wonder and happiness and I thought about what I am definitely going to do soon ;-):
Take a Pilates Lesson, Take a walk to enjoy the fresh air (and get a workout at the same time), catch up with my best friend(s) for a lunch on the beach, Have a Picnic, Watch the Sunset, Ride my bike (as ‘Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride‘), Act if I am a child again and Blow Bubbles, Search for Shells on the beach or Swing in a playground (which gives me a feeling of joy and freedom), Explore a new city I’ve never been too (Berlin), Read good books and last but not least ‘enjoy the sunshine‘.
“People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be” – Abraham Lincoln
Lovely post. The Lincoln’s quote is my BB status now! A reminder to self and loved ones around me. Thanks for sharing.
What a good idea to use the quote as BB status as daily reminder! :-) Thanks for reading my post and visiting my blog.

Happiness, I agree, is a choice. Nothing like a little dose of Pollyanna.
